Join students and faculty on May 4 from 6-8pm in the University Center, Room A. as they discuss the water crisis in Flint, Michigan.   

This program is aimed at raising awareness and relief for the residents of Flint, who are predominantly poor minorities living in a city where the water has been poisoned with lead and other toxins from a failed piping system. It is estimated that it will take 15 years and $60 million to rectify this state of emergency. 

The panelists will be discussing how this crisis could have been avoided, the effects of lead poisoning to the body, and ways we can help.
