Pride Service Site Leader Scholarship Applications Now Accepted for Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors
Widener is now accepting applications for the Pride Service Site Leaders Scholarship Program for current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. Students commit to 160 hours of service and leadership each year in exchange for an annual $1500 scholarship applied towards tuition for the 2014-2015 academic year.
The application consists of a one-page cover letter and one-page resume e-mailed to Loretta Mooney (lamooney@mail.widener.edu) by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 28, 2014.
Interviews will occur the week of April 7. and selected students will begin the Pride Service Site program starting in August 2014.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
The mission of the Pride Service Site Leaders Program is to educate, equip, and empower Widener students to coordinate and grow service opportunities for organizations within the Chester community which will increase and sustain the quality of life for its residents while enhancing the leadership development of the Pride Service Site Leaders.
