Chester Made invites you to join us for a community history talk and workshop facilitated by Laura Barraclough, Yale professor experienced in city remapping and reclaiming places of resistance in your own community.
 
Community History Talk and Workshop
Yale Professor Laura Barraclough works with communities to recover stories about ordinary places likely to be ignored or even erased from history. Explore the relationships between power and place through this Friday night talk and Saturday workshop, and contribute to the cultural assets map that is changing narratives about Chester.
 
Talk: “Insurgent Scholarship and Radical Tourism: The Making of ‘A People’s Guide’”
Friday, February 2, 2018; 6:00-8:00 pm
 
Workshop: “Re-Mapping Chester: Spaces of Struggle, Resistance, and Solidarity”
Saturday, February 3, 2018; 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
 
Both will be located at the MJ Freed Theater, 515 Avenue of the States, Chester, PA
