The Academic Service-Learning Faculty Development Program is seeking applications for the 2018-2019 academic year. The Academic Service-Learning Faculty Development Program is designed to provide faculty with support and resources to teach a service-learning course. Faculty will learn about the service-learning pedagogy, course design and assessment methods, and make connections with community partners.

Signing Up for Transportation to Service Sites

** All requests MUST be submitted at least 48 hours before the time you need transportation for it to be considered.  Students who fail to sign up in advance will be turned away

Sign up for transportation to service sites located in Chester by completing this form:  Student Transportation Request

Once scheduled, you will receive an email confirming your shuttle day and time.  Do not report to Campus Safety for a ride without confirmation.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure.

How to Obtain a Criminal Background Check

Are your students interested in volunteering with minors or children?  If so, they will need a criminal background check.  Generally, they'll need three different clearances:  (1) PA Child Abuse History, (2) PA Criminal Record Check, and (3) FBI Criminal Record Check.
